Welcome to Stringlights Music! Whether you're just starting out or diving deeper into fiddle and classical styles, we help bowed-string musicians flourish through innovative teaching and learning tools. Illuminate your pathway to musical joy and excellence!

Individual Lessons

One-on-one lessons are available in Fiddle School and Suzuki Methods Coaching for auditions and special projects also available by request. Most students take lessons weekly, but options are available for bi-weekly or supplemental lesson support.

Fiddle Patch + Small Group Learning

Students are grouped by age and skill and placed into peer learning groups. Students weekly in semesters to learn tunes together, and also receive one-on-one time and feeback with the teacher. Musicians stay motivated to move at the group pace and they build community through musical and social engagement opportunities.

Virtual Fiddle Cloud Club

This is a multi-generational welcomed class! Join from anywhere on a device and use replay videos when you are unable to attend live. Students are grouped by age and level but meet only twice a month to provide more flexibility to those with busy schedules or for those who study elsewhere but looking to build some fiddle skills!

Electives

Most semesters there is an elective option for studio and non-studio members. Supplemental electives ay include:

  • Beginning-Intermediate

  • Guitar Back-Up

  • Music Theory

  • Musical Theater Movement

  • Tune-writing

Community Events + Workshops

Studio and non-studio memebers are welcome to register for community events and workshops with special guest teachers and clinicians. These sessions may include

  • Square Dance and Workshop

  • Masterclass Workshops

  • Monthly Jams (Fiddle School Method and more)

  • Music as Service like Caroling and visiting Senior Centers

Guest Teaching + Consulting

Elizabeth Cunha is an active clinician and presenter for various topics in music education including violin technique, Setting up Beginners, Fiddle, Suzuki, Music Theory and Games, Practice Strategies, Bornoff and also does consulting work for program and curriculum development.
